Hand luggage for Groups

With the aim of improving your customer experience, we are working to enable you to contract and assign 2 pieces in cabin for your group directly from our platform.

Baggage included in group bookings is 1 checked bag up to 25 kg, except for infants + 1 underseat cabin bag (40x20x30 cm).

Additionally, it is possible to add 2 pieces in cabin service. This service includes:

  • 1 hand luggage on board in the overhead compartment (10 kg and 55x40x20 cm).
  • 1 hand luggage under the front seat (40x20x30 cm). No cost for the passenger as it is included in the Group fare.

Before we explain how to contract 2 pieces in cabin through the platform, remember that:

  • This service is subject to availability.
  • To be able to contract the 2 pieces in cabin servicethe booking must be fully paid.
  • It is only possible to add 1 service of 2 pieces in cabin per passenger.
  • It's possible to contract this service up to 72 hours before departure of the first flight.
  • If at the boarding gate your underseat cabin bag exceeds the permitted size (40x20x30 cm), it will be checked in at a cost of up to EUR 75.
  • If at the boarding gate any piece of luggage exceeds 55x40x20 cm, you will have to check it in at a cost of up to EUR 140.
  • This check-in fee will also apply at the boarding gate to all the pieces of luggage that have not been booked in advance.
  • 2 pieces in cabin service already booked cannot be changed or cancelled.

Bellow we explain how to contract these services via the group platform:

1. Enter in the Opportunity and click on the "Additional services" button. Always remember that this option will be enabled once the Opportunity has been fully paid.

2. In the "Hand luggage" section, click on the edit pencil to add the luggage for each flight with the option (+/-).

  • If the group has a return flight, indicate whether you wish to contract the same services for both flights in option “Same bags for outbound and return flights”.
  • This service is subject to availability and the same number of bags may not be available for the outbound and return flight. This information is shown on the left side of the screen.
  • Once you have selected the service, click on the "Save" button and then on the "Next" button.

 

3. Hand luggage can be automatically assigned to the first passengers in the booking by selecting Automatic allocation or you can select Allocate manually to indicate which passenger to assign the hand luggage to.

  • Click on the "Next" button to manage the payment of these services.

4. You then need to make the payment for the contracted services by credit card. Payment by bank transfer is not available for these services.

5. Once payment has been made, you can back to your booking where you will see the details of the contracted services.

Booking of musical instruments, pets on board, and special services for passengers with reduced mobility will continue to be available through our Customer Service Center within working hours.

Infants can be added at the initial flight search for the group from the very beginning of the group booking.
