Special luggage

All the luggage that your clients can carry (guitar, golf clubs, bike, etc.) that doesn't fit in a suitcase and is not considered dangerous goods.

General information about special luggage and examples:

  • Special luggage is not included in any fare.
  • You can add special baggage to your customers' booking during the purchase process or add it to the booking once the flight has been purchased from "Pending bookings", option "I want to improve my journey".
  • Your special luggage can weigh up to 32 kg and measure up to 2.70 m.
  • It must be correctly packed, labelled and well protected.
Examples of special luggage:
  • Skiing equipment: One pair of skis, poles and boots.
  • Windsurfing equipment: Board, boom, luff, mast and sail.
  • Surfboard: It must be properly protected inside its case.
  • Snowboard equipment: Snowboard and one pair of boots.
  • Bike: Disassembled as much as possible, with the tyres deflated and pedals removed.
  • Kitesurfing equipment: Board and kite.
  • Golf equipment: One pair of shoes and a set of clubs.
  • Musical instruments: Any instrument inside its case. If you wish to carry it on board with you, you can book an extra seat.
  • Sporting arm: You must go to the police station to have your license verified.
  • Other: For any other item you wish to bring, the aforementioned conditions (max. weight and size) will apply.

CODESHARE BOOKINGS
On flights operated by Vueling corresponding to bookings made through codeshare with Iberia or British Airways, you can add special baggage for your customers through our Customer Service Centre.

BOOKINGS ON FLIGHTS OPERATED BY OTHER AIRLINES
If any of your flights are operated by Iberia or British Airways, you can add luggage to your booking at the operating airline's check-in desk.
Remember that if your customers have booked a flight operated by another airline, you must go to the check-in desk of the operating airline on the day of the flight.
