HAND LUGGAGE

Everything your customers can carry in the aircraft cabin, depending on their fare.
If you're planning what your customers want to take with them to their next destination, or if you don't know what luggage is included in their booking, don't worry.

Here are all the details so you can clear up any doubts you may have about hand baggage.

1 UNDERSEAT CABIN BAG (FREE)

  • All customers can take on board, free of charge, 1 underseat luggage (max. 40x20x30 cm) and also all purchases made at the airport. However, everything must fit under the seat.
  • This piece of hand baggage is included in all fares.

1 PIECE OF LUGGAGE IN THE OVERHEAD COMPARTMENT (10KG)


If your customers have it included in their fare, the cabin trolley (max. 10 kg, 55x40x20 cm.) will travel with them and must be placed in the overhead compartment.

It’s included for:

  • Customers travelling with Fly Grande and TimeFlex+ (only available in GDS).
  • All Premium customers at any fare.
  • Customers who have contracted Space One and Space Plus seats.
  • Customers who have requested the airport assistance service (people with special needs).
  • Customers travelling with an infant (under 2 years of age).

What if the fare does not include a 10 kg piece of luggage to take on board?

If your customers have a Fly Light, Fly or Basic, Optima (only available in NDC) , you can add the 10 kg luggage during the purchase process or add it to the booking once the flight has been purchased from "Pending bookings", option "I want to improve my journey".Remember that:

  • It will be included for all passengers and the service is subject to availability.
  • This service can also be booked through our Customer Service Centre.
  • Whether your customer has it included in their fare, or if you added it to their booking, they also have the option of checking their 10 kg suitcase in the hold free of charge, at the airport counter (as long as it does not exceed the permitted measurements).

CODESHARE BOOKINGS

Codeshare flights operated by Vueling corresponding to bookings made through with Iberia or British Airways include a cabin bag (max. 10 kg, 55x40x20 cm.) that will travel with your customers and must be placed in the overhead compartment.


BOOKINGS ON FLIGHTS OPERATED BY OTHER AIRLINES


Carry-on baggage conditions depend on the policies of the operating carrier of the flight. Check their website for more information.
On connecting flights where each leg is operated by a different carrier, the more restrictive policy of the two carriers regarding hand baggage allowances will apply for both legs.
