Additional Services in the GDS Channel

At Vueling, we always try to offer you the best possible travel experience. 

We understand that each passenger has unique needs, which is why we offer a variety of additional services. However, it is important to know which services are available through Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and which require you to use other channels. 

Free Services Available in GDS:  

Through GDS, you can request essential free services to ensure your comfort and safety during the flight. These services include: 

  • Wheelchair: For passengers with reduced mobility. We accept the following: WCHS (cannot use stairs), WCHR (can walk short distances), WCHC (no mobility).  
  • Blind: Assistance for passengers with visual disabilities.  
  • Deaf: Assistance for passengers with hearing disabilities. 
  • SVAN: Transport of assistance dogs 
  • FQTV: Loyalty Program 
  • SEAT: Automatic seat assignment  
  • BAG: Automatic baggage assignment. (According to fare) 

Please note that UM is not accepted in any purchase channel at Vueling. 

Paid Services: (available only on the Web and Customer Service): 

  • SPEQ: Any special baggage, including instruments, skis, snowboard, bicycles, etc.  
  • SEAT: Seat upgrade.  
  • BAG: Add luggage not included in the fare booked in GDS. 

Free services only available on our WEB: 

  • Online Check-in: Also exclusively done through our website.  
  • Invoices: Invoices for additional services can only be requested, not for flight tickets. 

Changes and special bookings in GDS: 

  • Name Changes: You can make name changes through GDS.  
  • Extra Seat: It is possible to book an additional seat (Extra Seat) in GDS, but you must contact the customer service center after making the reservation. 
  • Infant: Booking a ticket for an infant is also possible in GDS, calculated as a percentage of the adult ticket price.
